Vaping oil is becoming more and more popular day by day. For some people, oil vaporizers are a healthy way to ingest some much required medicine while for some others vaping their favorite essential oil is just a soothing hobby. A wide range of essential oils, such as rosemary, peppermint and various types of food and medical grade oils are available on market these days. Flavors like eucalyptus, tea tree and chamomile are all acclaimed for their stress relieving properties. Vaping on essential oils provides pretty straight forward benefits. Aromatherapy delivers calming and soothing effects. Some flavors helps to get rid of headaches while some reduces anxiety and helps the user to sleep.

An oil vaporizer will essentially heat the oils in order to produce vapor for the user to inhale. The configuration of oil vaporizers is similar to that of every other vaporizer, be it for e-liquid, dry herb, or concentrates. Generally, a vaporizer will consist of three parts: A battery, tank and a mouth piece. The battery provides the power for your vape. The tank is where you put in your oil and the mouthpiece is used to draw the vapor into your lungs. Most oil vaporizers work the same, but they can be classified broadly in to three different types of oil vaporizers.

Cig-a-like oil vaporizers:
As the name suggest Cig-a-like looks like cigarettes. These are first generation vaporizers and are designed to look just like a regular cigarette for easy cover up. They have a small battery with a cartridge that contains the oil. They have several limitations such as the battery doesn’t last as long. Another drawback is there no way to know exactly what’s in the cartridge; they contain additives such as propylene glycol or wax and are not pure oil. Many cig-a-likes don’t come with the capacity to handle different kinds of substances. So, although they are very practical, cig-a-likes are rapidly falling from grace.

Portable oil vaporizers:
Portable oil vaporizers are by far the most popular type of oil vaporizer. Also known as vape pens, hey are small, discreet, and can be pretty powerful. Larger than cig-a-like in size, they produce more vape and usually possess a longer battery life. There are portable vaporizers that can handle multiple types of products such as waxy oils and dry herb. They also come with provisions for temperature settings. So you can easily tweak them for optimal performance. Unlike cig-a-like, you are not limited to use any specific cartridge and you can load up the tank with the oil of your choice. Vape pens are a great option for on the go vapers who need a simple and easy to use option.

Desktop oil vaporizers:
Desktop vaporizers are considerably larger than vape pens or cig-a-likes. Even though big and bulky, they work on the same principle as that of portable vaporizers. They are usually used for vaping sessions involving more than one person. Desktop vaporizers can produce large quantities of vapor at a time. In the place of mouth piece for vapor inhalation, the desktop vaporizers come with either a balloon or hose attachment. These table top vaping implements do not follow any standard design as manufactures takes advantage of its comparatively large size to create diverse shapes. Although they are not very portable, these vape devices comes with most number of features, best performance, outstanding vapor quality and just provide the best vaping experience
