E- Cigarettes and vaporizers are rapidly gaining in popularity as an alternative to traditional, tobacco-based cigarettes. In private places: Whether or not you can vape in offices, bars, restaurants, hotels and cafes, is at the sole discretion of the organisations. So, be sure to ask first. Many hotels permit vaping in the main lobby areas, as well as one’s private room, but this should be verified with the hotel first. If vaping is allowed, then be responsible when you are vaping. Places like school grounds are normally protected by laws that make smoking or vaping illegal on the property. With research being uncertain on the health effects of e-cigs, officials are cautionary on the use of these devices in public places.
